I can help with visual communication aspects of design for your business and create designs to complement the style and themes, from business cards, postcards, and compliment slips to gift vouchers, stickers, tape, tissue paper and beyond.

Within my own design style, my emphasis is on beautiful, clean creative, and modern design with an accent of nostalgia. I use vintage etchings and digital collages to create unique and playful designs. Some clients come to me wanting my design style, whilst others need something to reflect their business model and clients more specifically.

I have an excellent understanding of the print process and cardstock attributes. I can manage the whole job from start to finish, including sourcing suitable printing for your products and getting quotes and high-quality results...

Logo Design Process

  • During our first meeting, we will delve deeper into your business, and its offerings, and discuss your vision and expectations for the project. I will guide you through my design process, explain the details of the items you will receive upon completion of the project, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Every job is different, and every deadline is different. Really you should allow sufficient time for the designing and proofing of your work. If your deadline is very tight, we will do our best to complete your work within this time. We will, of course, advise before commencing the work.

  • Once you confirm your booking, we will begin preparing for the project. To secure your spot in my design calendar, you will need to sign a contract and make a deposit. Once this is done, I will send you a personalized, shared online Google Doc worksheet containing questions that will help me understand your business and brand better. Additionally, I will provide you with a private Pinterest mood board that will assist you in compiling the style and aesthetics that you believe reflect your brand.

  • A 50% upfront payment is required to start the project, with the final payment due within 2 weeks of completion. Cancellation, if there is no communication for over two weeks, the upfront fee is retained.

  • After we have finalized the brief and direction, we will proceed with the logo and identity design phase. This is the exciting part where you get to see your logo identity take shape! Within approximately one to two weeks, I will create your logo, identity guidelines, look and feel, font pairings, colour palettes, and up to three collateral items of your choosing.

  • Once you approve the final designs, I will provide an explanation of the elements of your new brand and share the final design files with you in a folder so that you can access them long after the project is completed.

  • During or after the design process you may decide that would like to increase the branding output of your design, with more print-ready designs or digital files for website or social accounts. This work will be discussed and quotes with the scope of work and package prices will be included and agreed upon before the additional work is produced.

  • We review the logo files and design assets that have been created for you. We can schedule a final video call where I’ll give you a guided tour of your new bespoke logo identity and guidelines. During the call, I’ll also answer any questions you may have on how to best use your toolset.

Mini Logo Package

This is for independents with a small budget.

Includes:

1. Art direction for your project to ensure that the creative ideas align with the project’s objectives.

2. Conceptualize and develop logos with revisions via e-mail.

3. Custom logo design with up to 3 design concepts for you to choose

from. The concept agreed, with two sets of revisions will be done to

arrive at the ideal design.

4. Your Logo in a single colour.

5. Master logo artwork files include image files for on-screen (website and office use and scalable vector graphics).

• The original, editable file (i.e. AI)

• A vector EPS file for digital (RGB)

• A vector EPS file for print (CMYK)

• A web preview file (PNG, JPEG, PDF)

*Additional file colours, types and social media packages can be purchased.

This package costs £250

Small Business Logo Package

This service is perfect for small projects with a limited budget, individuals working alone, and minor adjustments that don’t require a comprehensive design service. I provide the same excellent service for your logo design, regardless of the size of your project. With start-ups, the process is usually faster since there are fewer stakeholders involved, which means fewer updates to consider.

Includes

1. Art direction for your project to ensure that the creative ideas align with the project’s objectives.

2. Conceptualize and develop logos with revisions and one screen-sharing session (if useful).

3. Custom logo design with up to 3 design concepts for you to choose from. The concept agreed, with two sets of revisions will be done to arrive at the ideal design.

4. 3 Versions of your Logo in full colour, black and white.

5. Master logo artwork files include image files for on-screen (website and office use scalable vector graphics for printing and sign makers, these will include, colour, black and white versions.

• The original, editable file (i.e. AI)

• A vector EPS file for digital (RGB)

• A vector EPS file for print (CMYK)

• A web preview file (PNG, JPEG, PDF)

6. Full specifications of colours in CMYK, RGB and Hex along with font(s) if applicable.

7. Social Media Pack including sized logo file for 2 chosen social media channels.

This package costs £500

SME logo design & mini brand package

Logo Design for small businesses with one office or small online enterprises, larger start-up companies, individual consultants and self-employed people, one-off initiatives, or conferences.

Includes

1. Art direction for your project to ensure that the creative ideas align with the project's objectives.

2. Screen-based research into the business sector, competitors, target market, brand values and differentials, brand history, aims and objectives.

3. Conceptualize and develop logos with revisions and screen-sharing sessions (if useful).

4. Custom logo design with up to 3 design concepts for you to choose from and 3 sets of revisions to make your chosen logo perfect, in full colour, black and white.

5. A brand style guide that includes alternate logos, colour palette and font recommendations to make customising your brand easy.

6. Master logo artwork files including image files for on-screen, and office use along with Scalable vector graphics for printing, sign makers etc.

7. Full specifications of colours in CMYK, RGB and Hex along with font(s) if applicable.

8. Basic identity creation/branding — Three collateral items of your choice (e.g., business card design, letterhead, social media imagery, etc).

9. Social Media Pack including sized logo file for 4 chosen social media channels.

Clients

Lamingtons - Scotland
A boutique cosmetic line of 23 products for which I provided the label designs. The Logo and the label were to work as one design, with the logo suitable for social media and gift packaging stickers.

White Post Cafe - Somerset
The owner wanted a culinary collage, using vintage etchings. I provided signage, postcards, coffee cards, food and drink menus, stickers and some imagery for her web designer.

The Lost Kitchen - Devon
A kitchen garden and transformative feel for this project, where I work on developing all business stationary, promotion, website and social media management.

Challick Wood Herbs - Somerset

Lis wanted assistance in creating the framework for her WIX website and evoking an uplifting, natural theme reflective of her work. I provided her with a logo to complement her website, which she chose from the samples, that could be used in all other relevant social media forms and business stationery.
